The Stage 1 coupling kit makes use of an improved compression set with increased clamping pressure in combination with an organic Clutch plate.

These kits have a high quality print group having an increased clamping force (between 20-40% stronger) in comparison with a standard coupling, depending on the requirements of the vehicle concerned. They use an organic round spring-loaded coupling plate which provides the riding characteristics of a standard coupling.
