The weakest point on aftermarket pistons is typically the wrist pins (also known as a piston pin). It is the critical link between a piston and connecting rod, and is continually exposed to extremely high loads in alternating directions and it is also subjected to shearing and bending forces from the connecting rod. 
Thus, we offer upgraded wrist pins that slip directly into your CP Pistons. When you buy a set of “shelf stock” (normal) CP Pistons, they come with wrist pins that have a 3,75mm thick wall and are made of a good material (better than OEM), but not the best available. All the wrist pins we offer are made of CP’s 9310 Steel which is a harder & stronger material than the default CP wrist pins. All of the pins we offer are ISO 9000 and QS 9000 certified and 100% Rockwell tested. They are also cryogenically treated (subzero heat-treating process) for improved material strength and grain structure.
