ARP Main Stud Kit - - HONDA CIVIC SI B16A2 L4 ; - HONDA CIVIC DEL SOL VTEC B16A2;B16A3 L4 ; - 208-5402 *Crankshaft Main Studs* There are many important reasons to use ARP main stud kits, including the elimination of crankshaft main cap walk and fretting, as well as protecting the threads in your engine block. All kits come complete with hardened parallel-ground washers and high quality nuts. The studs are manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated in-house to 200,000 psi tensile strength, and precision J-form threads rolled after heat-treat to create a fastener that has threads 1000% stronger than others. This kit is for bolting down the crankshaft main caps and fits all B16 engines. ****IMPORTANT NOTE ! This kit is NOT for bolting on the cylinder head, please use ARP HEAD STUDS for that purpose
